3. The Empire State Building
After the destruction of the well-known Twin Towers, the 102 story Empire State Building claimed to be the third-tallest tower in New York City. From the years 1931 to 1972, the building was the world’s tallest and stood at a brilliant height of 381 meters. The building was constructed during the period of the Great Depression. Even so, more than 3000 laborers worked on this project to erect this building, taking about 410 days.
The building is one of New York’s can’t miss experiences. But what makes it so? The principal objective behind the building was to build the world’s first-ever that has 100+ stories. Furthermore, the building took an astonishing number of days to be constructed, which is truly record-breaking. Two observation decks present in the building make the visit absolutely worth it.
