18. Oriental Institute Museum

The oriental institute museum or the OI is an ancient archaeological museum located in Chicago. It was built as a research centre for historical sites and houses more than 350 thousand artefacts in it, of which 500 are put to exhibition. Its resources are today known as the world’s best to study the rich history of the Middle East. Sketching and drawing are allowed within the premises to give inspiration to young artists. Photography is also permitted but use of professional items of lightning, sticks, and tripods is prohibited.
