6. Riverwalk
Formerly an ill-odour shipping channel, the Riverwalk has now become every tourist’s go-to Instagram spot. It is a waterfront park space, along with a walking trail for tourists that stretches along the southern bank of the Chicago River. Its development and expansion began in the year 2015, and ever since then has it continued to enthral visitors far and near. You could enjoy a midday meal along with sparkling wine while enjoying scenic views, or rent boats and get in the water to get away from the heat. Not only is it adorned with exquisite cocktail bars but also does it how’s Chicago’s most beautiful buildings. There are several lookout points and benches spread across the area along with theatre style seating for occasional performances. you could join the book boat tour for get your own quiet and parallel down the river having the most wonderful view of the fine architecture of the city including the Trump tower, Willis tower, Wrigley building and The tribune tower.
Even if you’re not a water person, take the most insightful tour at the indoor museums and outdoor galleries that are everywhere along the walkway. For families with little kids, the place also offers shady areas where you could just sit and picnic for a while. There are a lot of aquatic attractions along the river work including the Vietnam veteran’s memorial plaza Chicago River museum and the floating garden. The Chicago Riverwalk starts along the historic Walker drive starting from the Lake Michigan which also provides access to the street level from each major intersection.

This garden is made of several half submerged planters where the grasses and plants are planted which gives meaning to its name. The Chicago cycle boats offers rides on the first ever slept off cycle board which is provided by the passengers and includes A 90 minute cruise. Sweet Home gelato is another renowned restaurant located on river work. The restaurant is father of local chain which offers 6 flavours of waffle cones.
The Riverwalk is always a seating area divided in stairs. One such wonderful viewpoint includes the rivers theatre where tourists like to sit and relax for the day while enjoying the most wonderful views of other people boating.
